Zomaar eens even een klein verslagje uit Zweden, op het moment zit ik in Salbohed, ongeveer ten hoogte van Stockholm om de grootste USA Car meeting van de wereld te bezoeken, de Power Big Meet 2010 in Vasteras. moet ongeveer te vergelijken zijn met het bekende Worthersee van de VW/Audi gekte.
Zo'n 17.000 Amerikaanse auto's hangen hier rond in de omgeving uit werkelijk alle landen om de 3-daagse meeting te bezoeken, ik zit hier zelf in een huisje midden in de bossen met een smal weggetje er voor langs en regelmatig komt er een dikke Charger/Chevelle/Camaro/Challenger voorbij met of zonder dikke Blower. gisteren naar de Cruise Night in Vasteras geweest, we kwamen de snelweg af en stonden meteen muurvast tussen de amerikaanse auto's.. auto in de berm gezet, stoeltjes er uit gepakt en de hele avond zitten kwijlen langs de kant van de weg, verschrikkelijk mooie auto's hier, Die Zweden zijn zo gek als een deur, met 15 man achterin een Dodge pick-up BBQen met 5 man op de motorkap.. je kunt het zo gek niet bedenken. heb ook nog wat foto's gemaakt van de eerste dag van de meeting hier.

Het meest aparte vind ik toch wel dat het hier in de zomer niet echt donker wordt, het begint rond een uurtje of 23:00 iets schemerig te worden en rond 0:30 wordt het hier niet echt donker.. rond 03:30 komt de zon hier al weer op.. gelukkig slaap ik altijd met de ogen dicht.
